The Musée du Parfum Fragonard

The only one of its kind in Paris, the Musée du Parfum’s unique concept features a novel and informative journey through the various production stages of perfume: a legendary luxury that is part of our daily lives. Shored up by its expertise and professional experience, the Parfumerie Fragonard reveals all the secrets of fragrance production: raw materials, haversting, extraction, distillation, formulation, industrialisation and bottling, not to mention the creative process and the job of the “nose”. In another section, a remarkable collection of antique objects retraces the history of perfume from Ancient Egypt to the 20th century, with kohl jars, aryballoses, lecythuses, pomanders, vinaigrettes, perfume-burners, potpourri pots, travel kits, smelling-salt flasks, exquisite bottles and more.

As a partner of Paris’s Greeters, the Musée du Parfum Fragonard offers to his visitors 10% reduction in the museum’s shop. Click here to have your GIFT VOUCHER.”
