Greeters are local residents who show visitors from all over the world around their neighbourhood, town or region free of charge. These are unique, authentic and warm encounters.
By becoming a ‘Greeter’, you share your love of Paris and forge bonds with people from different cultures. It’s a rewarding experience that allows you to rediscover your own city through the eyes of your visitors.

Complete flexibility
You choose when and how many times a month you want to welcome visitors.
To become a Greeter, you need to:
- Have lived in Paris or its inner suburbs for at least one year
- Loving your neighbourhood and wanting to show it off
- Be able to speak French and possibly one foreign language (English, Spanish, German, etc.)
- Be available for walks lasting 2 to 3 hours
- Enjoy interacting with people and engaging in dialogue
